Alice is currently working in two media, etching and gouache painting. While on a 3-year hiatus from previous artwork, she became immersed in the imagery and palette of the Arts & Crafts Movement (1900 -1925). “The Craftsman and Spanish Colonial Revival homes, the furnishings and decorative arts, and the way the beauty of nature was incorporated into everyday life had a profound effect upon me. Now my goal is to produce the kind of imagery that one would find in a vintage home of the early 1900’s.“
