While on a 3-year hiatus from previous artwork, Alice became immersed in the imagery and palette of the Arts & Crafts Movement (1900 -1925). “The Craftsman and Spanish Colonial Revival homes, the furnishings and decorative arts, and the way the beauty of nature was incorporated into everyday life had a profound effect upon me.
